Sustaining a Continuous Improvement Culture

No matter the type of organisation or the industry sector, sustaining Continuous Improvement is where most businesses fail.

There are many factors to why organisations fail to sustain their improvements. Commonly, many of these businesses believe that training their people on the principles and tools of the methodologies will build enough capability to sustain for the long term. In our 16 years of working across 400 plus organisations, we’ve understood the process of sustaining long-term success, and we’ve created our unique 5-step strategic deployment method that when followed, guarantees an outcome that will yield a greater than 300% return on investment.

In this Innovative Talks event, our host Parth Bommakanti invites a panel of guest speakers who have successfully sustained a culture of continuous improvement within their organisations. Parth, an Executive Director of Vative, has managed many large continuous improvement culture transformations in his decade plus time at Vative will share these experiences with three Government sector organisations to not only bust the myth that Lean Six Sigma cannot be applied and sustain in a services-based sector, though also share the strategy, the leadership values and beliefs, and tactical deployment that these organisations set to achieve their greatness.

In this workshop, Vative will welcome a line-up of extraordinary leaders whom together, will take you through in detail their experiences of the 5-stages of building a performing culture of continuous improvement. Our panel will consist of:

  • Michael Deichsel – Director Business Integration and Improvement, Department of Transport
  • Pallav Ahuja – Manager ICT, Projects and Innovation, Brimbank City Council
  • Andrea Ghastine – Continuous Improvement Coordinator, Whitehorse City Council

Our guest panel will also include Mike Valentine, Head of Business Solutions at Vative, to share his 20 plus years’ experience in designing and project managing large scale transformations across many industry sectors and share his wisdom on how to avoid the pitfalls that some organisations fall into when deploying continuous improvement.

Vative invites the broader business community to attend this complimentary and engaging workshop face to face or tune in live online. This event will inspire businesses to challenge the status quo. More than 80% of businesses often overlook to apply continuous improvement in areas of customer service, administration, planning, sales and product development, often only focusing on the production and frontline operations rather than then the entire value stream. In this workshop, we’ll uncover why this is a typical and missed opportunity to be truly innovative, here is why:
