Kaizen table

Kaizen originates form the idea that everything can be improved. It is a strategy where employees at all levels of a company work collectively and proactively to achieve day to day improvements in productivity, effectiveness, safety, and waste reduction. The focus of Kaizen is to decrease waste e.g., time and defects which will result in an elevated level of efficiency. This is done by removing overproduction, improving quality, being more efficient, and reducing unnecessary activities.  

A Kaizen table is a tool to help us prioritise improvements. It enables you to prioritise the changes that you wish to make to the current process. By adding all Kaizen ideas into a Kaizen table, you are able to rank and therefore prioritise improvement ideas generated by your team. When you are ready to start implementing changes, you base these changes on their priority ranking in the Kaizen Table.
